Program Description

A two-day excursion to Ijen, a complex of active volcanoes in East Java.

Day 1: Transfer from the hotel to the port. Transfer by ferry to the port of Ketapang. Then, drive to the hotel in Banyuwangi. Accommodation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Departure from the hotel around midnight. Transfer to Paltuding - a ranger camp from where the climb to Ijen Crater begins. An excellent opportunity to admire an unforgettable sunrise. At the top of Ijen you can look into the crater and see the blue flame of the volcano. Then, return to Ijen base camp. Breakfast at a local Warung restaurant. Drive to Ketapang port, ferry crossing and transfer to hotel.
