Go on a full-day optional excursion to Bangkok!
We will pick you up from your hotel and set off towards the capital of Thailand. To start, you will visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), which houses, among other things, a 46-meter-long statue of the reclining Buddha! You will discover up to 1,000 Buddha images throughout the sanctuary.
Next, you will go to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). This is where it is located, a tiny figurine (66 cm) made of emeralds and gold. Although small, the statue holds immense religious and national significance, being considered a national treasure of Thailand. Right next to it, you will see the impressive Grand Palace, the former centre of power and residence of the kings of Thailand.
After the spiritual and historical introduction, a cruise on a traditional longtail boat awaits you through the canals of the Thonburi district. Along the way, you will see wooden houses on stilts, the daily life of the residents, and the extraordinary contrast between the tranquillity of this district and the modern city centre.
Next, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant to savour the authentic flavours of Thailand - aromatic, spicy, and fresh.
Finally, you will ascend to the very top of the country's tallest building. You will see Bangkok from the 74th floor on an indoor terrace. For those seeking thrills, there is the Mahanakhon Skywalk - a walk on a glass floor at a height of 314 meters with a panorama of the city beneath your feet.
After a day full of impressions, you will return to Hua Hin with your head full of memories and the feeling that you know Thailand better.
