Continue through the old town (Altstadt) past the famous Tinguely fountain, with its ten moving iron elements. The next stop on the tour is Munsterplatz square, where a variety of cultural events are held throughout the year. Stop by the cathedral with its terrace, which offers picturesque views of the Rhine. It is an architectural gem of the city that has survived despite the destruction and is a symbol of Basel. Visit the Tinguely Museum, with works by one of the most innovative Swiss artists of the 20th century, and the Kunstmuseum, showcasing the evolution of art over the centuries. Finally, the Dollhouse Museum, which is of particular interest to the youngest children. Return to the hotel.
