Trekking: Walking on the Moonscape of Lanzarote from Playa Blanca

Discover the unique, moon-like landscapes of Lanzarote on a guided walk through the Los Volcanes Nature Park – a protected area that showcases both recent and historical volcanic activity on the island.

The route takes you through a fascinating world of volcanoes, lava flows and volcanic cones, creating what feels like a vast open-air museum of volcanology. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the island’s geological history while exploring its raw and unusual scenery.

This is an easy route of approximately 7 km, with a walking time of around 3 hours. A good level of fitness is recommended, and comfortable sports footwear – preferably hiking shoes – is required.
