Program Description
Limestone hills, hidden caves and peaceful beaches - Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is one of the most picturesque places near Hua Hin. During this trip, you'll enjoy a boat ride along the coast, relax by the sea and, if you enjoy active adventures, take the opportunity to explore a remarkable cave hiding a royal pavilion.
After approximately 90 minutes' drive from Hua Hin, you'll arrive at Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, whose name means "Mountain of Three Hundred Peaks". Your first stop will be the small fishing village of Bang Pu, where you'll board a traditional Thai long-tail boat for a short cruise. Along the way, you'll admire limestone hills and coastal scenery before reaching a peaceful beach surrounded by nature.
For those who enjoy an active adventure, there's an opportunity to hike to Phraya Nakhon Cave. Reaching the cave involves a steep, approximately 430-metre climb along a rocky trail, but the effort is rewarded with the sight of the Khuha Kharuehat Royal Pavilion hidden inside. Built during the reign of King Rama V, this distinctive structure stands within a vast cave chamber, where sunlight streams through an opening in the ceiling. It's one of the most iconic sights in Thailand's national parks.
After returning from the cave, you'll have some free time on the beach. Take a leisurely stroll along the shore, relax on the sand or enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea. The programme also includes lunch at a local restaurant.
The order of visits and the itinerary are subject to change.
